Personal Call Handler
This powerful feature of Discovery NetPhone allows
call handling actions to automatically occur when
the phone rings or outbound numbers are dialed.
These actions include “screen pops,” from contact
management programs, opening of call journals,
recording abandoned calls, automatic voice mail
transfer, automatic transfer to your cell phone,
etc.
Personal Power Dialer
Outbound calling routines can be easily
managed using Discovery NetPhone’s power dialer
feature. Users can simply drag-and-drop a series of
contacts from their address book into the personal
power dialer and the outbound calls will be dialed
automatically according to the user’s preferences.
Once each call is complete, Discovery NetPhone will
inquire if the call was successful or if it should
be called again at a later time.
Built-in Chat
Discovery NetPhone has instant messaging
built-in, so any NetPhone user can also be accessed
via NetPhone chat. Users can send broadcast messages
to an entire group or perform individual private
chat. Users may choose not to be disturbed by chat
or can post an automatic response to anyone
attempting to chat such as “In a meeting until
2:00.”
User Programmable Feature Keys
Discovery NetPhone keys can be easily
configured by the user to act as telephone feature
keys such as speed dial, voice mail, etc. In
addition “User Action” keys can be programmed to
perform various PC actions as well, such as
launching a website or frequently referenced
document.
Call History Log
Discovery NetPhone keeps a call history log
that can be quickly referenced to review inbound or
outbound calls. These numbers can be quickly
re-dialed by simply right-clicking the number.

Reduce Hardware
at the Desktop Discovery NetPhone is a 3rd
party call control software that operates from your
organization’s data server, thereby eliminating the
need for a hard-wired CTI connection between the
phone and the PC at each desktop.
Full or Streamlined View
Users can toggle between a full view or
streamlined view when using Discovery NetPhone. Full
view provides a window with one click access to all
features while Streamlined view uses minimal screen
space along the top of the PC screen to provide
information and minimal buttons for effective phone
operation.
Custom User Interface
The Discovery NetPhone graphic user
interface can be altered to reflect the look and
feel of your organization. These graphic interfaces
are called “Skins.” Color, texture, button
appearance, even the identifying logo can be
changed, making Discovery NetPhone a truly
customizable product to empower your business.
Integrate Incoming Calls With Popular
Contact Management Systems
Discovery NetPhone can be programmed to
automatically open any application in conjunction
with the incoming call. For example, a call center
could have incoming calls automatically pop open a
browser window to a “Caller Survey” form that shows
the answering agent all of the caller’s information
along with the answering script and survey choices
the agent should use in interacting with the caller.
