DiscoveryLINK
is Vodavi’s middleware solution designed to provide
first party call control on a personal computer by
linking most Vodavi telephone systems with many
popular contact management software packages such as
ACT!™, GoldMine®, Maximizer™,Outlook®,Outlook
Express® and Telemagic.
DiscoveryLINK
Desktop Display
The DiscoveryLINK
display provides information interactively as the
telephone is used. Information such as date and time
when the telephone is idle, Caller ID and
interactive prompting as the telephone is operated.
The phone status area displays HOLD, TRANSFER, IDLE,
BUSY or RINGING depending on the current state of
the phone. The DiscoveryLINK display is
equipped with five programmable call keys that will
display information on each active call. There are
15 additional keys at the bottom of the display that
can be programmed quickly and easily to be feature,
speed dial, call or user action keys.
Personal Call
Handler
This powerful feature of
DiscoveryLINK allows call handling rules
to automatically perform specifically programmed
actions when certain events occur and specific
conditions are true. These actions include “screen
pops,” record abandoned calls, automatic voice mail
transfer of unwanted calls, etc.
Integrations
DiscoveryLINK works with the
most popular PIMS (Personal Information Management
Systems) to result in improved customer satisfaction
by eliminating the frustrations associated with
incomplete TAPI-compliant products.

DiscoveryLINK works with the
listed software using both TAPI 2.0 and Dynamic Data
Exchange (DDE) which requires one of the following
